Description (copied from their site): Drop.io is an easy to use, online file sharing service that provides users with a simple and private way to share images, video, audio, documents and other digital content through unique, user-created and controlled sharing points called 'drops.'
In just two clicks, users are able to seamlessly create personal sharing points, upload content via web, e-mail, MMS, Facebook, Firefox extension, phone and fax inputs and share it with friends, family and colleagues through drop.io's various web, e-mail, MMS, twitter, iTunes and fax outputs.
Cost: Drop.io is free for individual use. There is a fee ($19.99/month) for the optional drop.io manager account, which would be useful for heavy users.

Critique: If you have ever found yourself trying to send a file that is too large to email to a colleague, you will appreciate the drop.io service. You can very quickly and easily upload a large file and then email your colleague the url for that file. The whole process is amazingly simple.
Your uploads are not searchable by Google or other search engines, so they stay private. Only the person who knows the URL for your files can download them; additionally, you can create a password that must be entered to download your files, so they are secure. You can specify an expiration date for your files, so they are not just hanging out online forever. Most interestingly, drop.io does not require you to create any sort of registration or other account; you simply use this service when you need it.
You would be hard pressed to find any only file sharing service that is easier to use, especially at this cost.
