iCochise - Information for Online Students
Online courses from Cochise College allow you to attend class when it suits your schedule. We offer courses in a wide variety of subjects, and also offer several full degree and certificate programs completely online. Plus, the credits you earn online can be transferred to many universities.
Online courses are delivered via the internet using the WebStudy Course Management System. You can work on your class 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. These courses do not physically meet in a classroom and usually do not require students to login at specific times.
However, many students find online classes to be harder than face-to-face classes. In order for you to successfully complete an online class, you must have internet access available and be disciplined to study every week.
The information at this site will help you start and complete your online class. You'll find an orientation for new students, help with WebStudy Course Mangement System, information about the text book for your class, a "quick reference" page, and links to valuable student resources in our Webliography.
